A New Chapter: Shifting Gears as a Solo Developer
As a solo developer, I’ve learned a lot during the journey of creating Shadow Slayer. However, after careful consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to put the project on the back burner for now. Developing a game as a one-person show, especially without funding, has proven to be a much larger challenge than anticipated.
Rather than continue down this path alone, I’m taking a step back to reassess and focus on smaller projects that are more manageable for the time being. My goal is to build experience, refine my skills, and find opportunities to collaborate with a team where I can bring my strengths as part of a collective effort.
Although Shadow Slayer won’t be moving forward at this time, I’m excited to head back to the drawing board, explore new ideas, and hopefully bring something fresh to life in 2026.
